A Bit About Jenni

Having originally trained as Biologist at Oxford University specialising in neurobiology and later
qualifying as an Independent Financial Advisor, Jen has always had a passion for learning, growth
and a deep fascination with the workings of the mind, life and creating supportive relationships with
others to achieve meaningful outcomes. It was these factors together with Jen’s commitment to
personal development that underpinned Jen’s decision to retrain as an Integrative Psychotherapist
in 2012 to combine her life experiences to help others emotionally and since that time, she has
supported hundreds of clients to gain understanding, growth and healing from a myriad of
emotional, mental and physical health challenges. She has come to see how people’s pain can often
act as a gateway to deep healing, self-insight, positive change and growth when people are given the
right support.

Whether a person be struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, loneliness or a sense of being stuck
in life, central to Jen’s approach is the notion that wellbeing and healing is achievable through
forming a trusting non-judgmental supportive relationship and adopting a tailored therapy approach
to fit the individual, rather than making an individual fit an approach. Indeed, since completing her
BACP accredited Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy, Jen has gone on to train in
multiple therapy modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Rapid Transformational
Therapy, NICE approved Person-Centred Experiential Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Clinical
Hypnotherapy and Change Coaching as well as expressive arts, somatic approaches,
neuropsychology and trauma informed therapies. She is passionate about clinical research and
always looking to develop and deepen her work with clients to meet their therapy needs and aims

Jen is passionate about helping people reconnect to an inner sense of self-worth, resilience and
choice and believes there is always capacity for change and a way to move forward beyond difficult
times. Having worked for as a therapist in both primary and secondary care NHS mental health
services for seven years as well as prior therapy experience in a women’s charity, University, Primary
school and private practice, Jen has had the privilege of supporting a wide diversity of people facing
all manner of life difficulties to overcome various emotional , mental and life challenges and has
witnessed how healing and change is always possible with the right approach at the right time.
Treating each person as an individual and honouring their unique life experiences, emotions, needs
and personal goals lay at the centre of all her work alongside her commitment to creating a safe
therapeutic relationship to empower and enable positive change and healing.
Jen looks forward to supporting you to move from pain to purpose, struggle to wellbeing and deeply
owning your innate worth.
